Dixie Chicks singer Natalie Maines is being forced to pay up in her nasty divorce battle after her ex claimed he's going broke, RadarOnline.com exclusively learned.

Court records obtained by RadarOnline.com showed that Maines, 44, was sanctioned by a judge on Tuesday, Feb. 19 in her ongoing divorce case. The singer was ordered to pay Adrian Pasdar, 53, $2,500 within 15 days.

Pasdar previously claimed he was going broke and couldn't afford to pay his legal fees. The bitter husband accused Maines of "playing games" and acting "aggressive" in court docs, RadarOnline.com reported.
