‘American Choppers’ Exec Producer Doing New Show With ‘Gold Rush’s Todd Hoffman

American Choppers executive producer Franco Porporino has inked a deal to develop a new mining competition show with Discovery’s Gold Rush star Todd Hoffman RadarOnline.com exclusively learned.
“Todd Hoffman is truly one of the nicest guys I have ever met,” Porporino told RadarOnline.com. “Hoffman is a reality star genius. He made Gold Rush what it is today, and Greenhorn Gold is going to be even bigger! It’s going to be an amazing show and we are going to change people’s lives, when they win real gold!”
Porporino revealed to RadarOnline.com that he was working on the project alongside Emmy Award winning producers Thom Beers, and Jeff Conroy, formerly of Original Productions/Fremantle and current founders of BoBCat Studios along with Sarah Bernard, who have produced Deadliest Catch, Storage Wars, Monster Garage and so many others.
Porporino is an executive producer on the project along with Jose Behar, BoBCat Studios and Zum Media.
Porporino is dominating the reality TV world after he played a pivotal role in bringing back Discovery’s hit reality TV show American Choppers.
Porporino credited A-list comedian George Lopez for the introduction into the business. Porporino said, “George Lopez is the most selfless giving person I have ever met. I owe a tremendous about of my success to this man.”
Porporino is also breaking into the world of scripted television, producing a scripted series on the life of a former NYPD police commissioner.
