Inside Steve Buscemi’s Wife’s Sad Funeral
Jan. 12 2019, Updated 9:38 p.m. ET
Steve Buscemi lovingly carried his wife’s wicker coffin out of their Brooklyn home during the heartbreaking funeral procession, RadarOnline.com can report.
The Boardwalk Empire star was surrounded by family and friends after Jo Andres’ death.
The family welcomed many visitors to their home on Tuesday, January 8 and Wednesday, January 9 before the funeral.
Buscemi’s brother Michael and son Lucian were present and helped carry her out of the brownstone.
His Big Lebowski costar John Turturro as well as Sopranos star Aida Turturro paid a visit, showing love and support for their grieving friend.
FDNY Firefighters from Buscemi's Ladder Company were seen at the Brooklyn home — he was a volunteer firefighter on 9/11 — and helped as the wicker casket was carried out.
He looked stoic and strong as he shared hugs with relatives before leaving for the burial. They received an NYPD and FDNY escort.
