Rapper Soulja Boy almost died after he got caught in heavy California rain on Saturday night, Jan. 5.
The rain caused flash floods and mudslides in Malibu and other areas that had previously been affected by the devastating Woolsey Fire late last year.
Soulja tweeted on Sunday, Jan. 6, about his terrifying ordeal, "Was involved in a very very bad car accident last night due to a flash flood and mud slide."
An hour later, the star, whose real name is DeAndre Cortez Way, added, "My car got stuck too almost went into the ocean."
"I still haven't got my car back it's stuck in the water in the middle of the mud slide/flood."
Also on Sunday, the wealthy "Crank That" singer, 28, tweeted, "Thank God for another day, with new opportunities & blessings."
He posted a clip of his mud-covered sneakers on his Instagram Stories, and wrote, "Just thankful to be alive. My face all swollen and s—t."
Malibu's famed Pacific Coast Highway was shut down in both directions on Saturday night due to the mudslides and flooding, and flash flood warnings were issued for that city and other areas.
As RadarOnline.com reported, many celebrities lost their homes during the Woolsey Fire and it made the ground unstable.
After Soulja's accident, he also shared videos of his bathroom, where he took a "much needed" shower after leaving his car stuck in the mud and making it home.
