The singer filed the lawsuit on Tuesday, January 15 against Ronald Fenty as well as a company called Fenty Entertainment, claiming Ronald and a business partner have been exploiting her name by booking events without her permission or knowledge.
"Although Mr. Fenty is Rihanna's father, he does not have, and never has had, authority to act on Rihanna's behalf," the filing, first obtained exclusively by The Blast, reads.
In the lawsuit obtained by Radar, the "Work" hitmaker claims the pair falsely advertised themselves as her reps to pocket millions of dollars — including a $15 million tour of Latin America!
Ronald claims he ran the dealings by his daughter's record label, Roc Nation, but Rihanna alleges that her label is denying to have any knowledge of such.
The famous father even made an attempt to trademark "Fenty," which is the last name that they both share, to use with resort boutique hotels.
His application was denied.
The 30-year-old star alleges her father has ignored multiple cease and desist letters her team sent to him, demanding he stop exploiting the Fenty trademark.
