JACKO’s legacy lives on — with Bubbles: The Movie!
A stop-motion animated flick about the tongue-in-cheek life of Michael Jackson’s pet chimpanzee Bubbles has Hollywood buzzing, RadarOnline.com exclusively learned.
“This was in the works for a while, but now it’s fully green-lit and the priority is to have it completed by the end of 2019,” spilled an insider.
“It’s going to tell the story of this chimp’s incredible journey from birth in a medical lab to adoption by a famous pop star when he was eight months old, told through Bubbles’ eyes.”
Bubbles lived a life of luxury at Neverland Ranch with Jackson, traveling the world with his loving human owner. He even played with Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket when they were youngsters.
Bubbles was even friends with other A-listers as Jennifer Love Hewitt filmed a commercial with Jackson and met the pet chimp on set when she was just 10-years-old.
“I got to meet Bubbles!” Love Hewitt told Jimmy Kimmel on his show, adding that she even gave the adorable animal a “high-five!”
Few know what happened to Bubbles after Jacko gave him away — but RadarOnline.com exclusively revealed the primate, now 35, lives in comfortable retirement at The Center for Great Apes in Wauchula, Fla., without the help of his famous late owner.
“Bubbles was not provided for in Michael Jackson’s will,” Patti Ragan, founder of the Center for Great Apes in Wauchula, Florida, where the former pet is living “in retirement” told the RadarOnline.com.
