Michael Caine Stalked His Own Wife!

Esteemed British acting icon Michael Caine has confessed that he met his wife of 46 years — after stalking her!
The Alfie star was blown away when he saw his future bride, Guyanese-born beauty Shakira Baksh, in a coffee commercial in 1971. He decided on the spot to track her down and make her his own.
“I saw this lady on the television in a commercial and fell in love instantly,” the two-time Oscar winner recalled.
With no clue as to who she was, Caine told a friend he’d leave immediately for South America — because he mistakenly believed she was Brazilian.
Excited by his plan, he and a couple of pals went out to celebrate at a disco where he told another buddy about the gorgeous stunner he was off to chase in Brazil the next day.
But the friend set the now 85-year-old actor straight.
“He said, ‘Michael, she’s not Brazilian, she is Indian. And she lives on the Fulham Road right here in London!’” Caine laughed.
The Get Carter star sought Baksh out the next day, and within two years he was married to the model — who’s now 71 and still his life partner!
