True love!
Liam Hemsworth made his new wife Miley Cyrus blush during a romantic speech, showing off their newlywed love at the G’Day USA event, calling her a “sweet angel,” RadarOnline.com exclusively learned.
The Australian actor, who accepted an honor for his contribution to Hollywood film in Los Angeles on Jan. 26, 2019, couldn’t help but gush about the Malibu singer, 26, who supported him at the black-tie gala for their first major evening out together as a married couple.
“Thank you to my beautiful wife,” Hemsworth said, which left Cyrus open-mouthed while the audience cheered, adding: “You are a sweet, sweet angel. Yeah, I love you, you’re great.”
As he went on to thank his supportive parents, cheeky Cyrus shouted, "More about me!” to which he told her, “I’ll tell you later, I’ll tell you later."
Hemsworth, 29, also seemed ready to start a family with his new wife as he thanked his talent manager, saying: “Will Ward, you housed me when I came over here, I looked after your kids. Your kids have grown into great young people, and I’d say most of it comes from the little time they spent with me. So, I’m proud of those kids, good kids."
The Hunger Games star was left embarrassed by friend Vince Vaughn who made fun of the fact he wasn’t invited to his secret nuptials in Nashville recently as he presented him with the award.
Talking about his film achievements, Vaughn said: “His first leading role was in 2010, The Last Song, which won him a Teen Choice Award, and that’s also where he met Miley, who he might or might not be married to, I wouldn’t know personally because I was not invited to this wedding that may or may not have happened.
"I’m just a guy who gave up his Saturday night to be away from his kids to come down here to give Liam an award.”
After seeing his achievements onscreen, Hemsworth admitted: “F**k, that was embarrassing, I don’t think I’ve ever chewed my face off as much as I just did with that five minutes, just head down, I just don’t like watching myself.
“I’d like to thank you Vince, for taking your sweet time to present me with this award, you’re my f**king hero, and it honestly means the world to me you made the time to come to this."
