Kevin Spacey Ordered To Stay Away From Alleged Teen Sex Assault Victim

In a rumpled, ill-fitting gray suit, his hands folded in front of him, actor Kevin Spacey appeared for arraignment in a Nantucket courtroom on Monday for a felony charge of sexual assault related to accusations he had inappropriate contact with a teen boy.

Spacey, 59, is facing a charge of indecent assault and battery after he allegedly groped the 18-year-old busboy — who is the son of Boston's former WCVB-TV anchor Heather Unruh — while at the Club Car lounge two summers ago.

Before his appearance, the actor arrived in Nantucket, Massachusetts, where the incident allegedly occurred in 2016, aboard a private jet at 9:47 a.m. "He remained inside for about an hour before hoping into a gray SUV" to make his way to court, a source told RadarOnline.com.

Judge Thomas Barrett has ordered Spacey to stay away from and have no contact with the teenager.

"If you're charged with another offense while this matter is open, you could be held in jail for 90 days," the judge warned Spacey, who did not speak but acknowledged the warning by nodding.

Spacey attorney Alan Jackson asked the court to order that "data" in the case be preserved — likely a reference to a Snapchat video the boy took, which allegedly shows Spacey groping the young man. The actor's attorneys have viewed the video and contended in previous court hearings it simply showing one person's hand on another person's stomach area.

Jackson called the data potentially "exculpatory."

"I simply don't want to see any of that data deleted or destroyed — put a bubble around that data so it doesn't get destroyed," he added.

A new hearing has been set for Mar. 4. Spacey will not be required to attend.

"By reporting the sexual assault, my client is a determined and encouraging voice for those victims not yet ready to report being sexually assaulted," the alleged victim's attorney, Mitchell Garabedian, told RadarOnline.com of the case, adding his "client is leading by example."
