Kate Beckinsale has been hospitalized after suffering a ruptured ovarian cyst, she revealed on Instagram.

The Total Recall actress, 45, shared photos of herself in a hospital bed and told fans in a caption, "Turns out a ruptured ovarian cyst really hurts and morphine makes me cry. So thankful to everyone who looked after me." Beckinsale also added the hashtag #wobbly and a heart emoji.

She was last seen hosting the LA Art Show in Los Angeles. The hairstylist who worked on her for that event, Pete Savic, asked her on social media, "When did this happen?! I just saw you. I am so very sorry you have to go through that."

"Today!!" Beckinsale replied. "Thank you darling love you." Actress pal Isla Fisher told Beckinsale, "Sending you so much love," while Sarah Silverman, who once dated Beckinsale's baby daddy, Michael Sheen, wrote "OMG!!!!" Beckinsale told her followers, "Thank you so much to everyone who has wished me well and lots of love to the girls here who have been through similar or worse. Love to all x."

The actress is single and late last year, she was spotted kissing toyboy comedian Jack Whitehall, who is 16 years younger, as Radar reported.

In January 2019, ageless beauty Beckinsale left a Golden Globes party with SNL star Pete Davidson, 25.  "They were flirting all night and sipping champagne," a source told Page Six. "They were outside on the patio and left together."

British Beckinsale was married for 12 years to American film director Len Wiseman. That union ended in 2016 after he filed for divorce. Beckinsale also shares a 19-year-old daughter, Lily, with her former partner, actor Michael Sheen; the couple split up in 2003.
