Angelina Jolie Leaning On Friend Natalie Portman Amid Brad Pitt Divorce Drama

Angelina Jolie has been going through a nasty divorce with estranged husband Brad Pitt. But fortunately for the A-list actress, she's had friend Natalie Portman to lean on. RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal the Hollywood neighbors have become close friends.
"Natalie and Angelina live in the same community and have secretly been pals for a while," an insider told RadarOnline.com. "They used to have dinner dates with their husbands Brad Pitt and Benjamin Millepied and now that Angie is single, Natalie is one of the only people she feels like she can lean on."
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Jolie, 43, has been reaching out to many of her famous friends in light of her messy divorce from Pitt, 55.
As for Portman, 37, friends say it's always been hard for the young beauty to make genuine connections in Hollywood.
"Natalie has always had some social awkwardness and struggled to keep up her Hollywood friendships – until now," the insider added.
They've both found it hard to make female pals in the industry and are able to relate to each other in another way.
"While Natalie can be icy at times and is highly academic, Angie is someone who can match her intellect," the insider revealed. "There's a lot of mutual respect here."
