Vanessa Paradis Is Happy Johnny Depp's Daughter Lily Rose Has Chosen Showbiz Career
Vanessa Paradis is ok with Johnny Depp's daughter Lily Rose following her famous parents into showbiz.
However, the French performer stayed tight-lipped about her relationship with Depp in an interview with The Sunday Times.
But she did talk about her daughter's new career as a model and actress.
Interestingly, the birth of Lily Rose back in 1999 helped Depp tame his wild ways as did the influence of French performer Paradis. The couple also has a 16-year-old son Jack.
Talking about her birth Depp said: "Not just the greatest thing that's ever happened, but the only thing that's ever happened. I helped give my daughter life and I felt she gave me life."
Now their 19-year-old daughter is embarking on her own career path.
Her mom got a hard time when her song 'Joe le Taxi' became a worldwide hit when she was only, 14, saying it was 'tough' because people turned on her.
She explained that she received abuse as a teenager as a result of being thrust into the spotlight. The singer was called a 'whore' and even punched on the street.
"I sang a song. I was overexposed on radio, on TV. I was everywhere. People couldn't digest me," she revealed.
"Yes, it was tough because it became an everyday thing... I think some people really couldn't stand me."
Her stunning daughter is currently the face of Chanel Number 5 and is embarking on an acting career.
Her mom added: "I'm really happy she's where she should be. She's very talented and makes great choices about what movies she does. She's pretty much made for the job."

Paradis, 45, recently married French director Samuel Benchetrit despite never tying the knot with Depp during their 14 years together.
The couple split in 2012 with Depp embarking on an affair with Amber Heard.
The 55-year-old told Rolling Stone Magazine: "Relationships are very difficult. Especially in the racket that I'm in because you're constantly away or they're away and so it's hard. It wasn't easy on her (Paradis)."
