“The mother had publicly stated on television within the last month, she ‘self-medicates’ with alcohol. That behavior is detrimental to the children,” David’s court documents stated.
“I requested Mrs. Beador agree to not drinking or being drunk in front of the children and the request was denied and in fact disputed that she even stated she ‘self-medicates’ even though the television clip of her stating it is currently on the Bravo (NBCU) website and was included and quoted on several media articles,” David continued in the documents obtained by RadarOnline.com.
On the RHOC reunion show, Tamra Judge spoke about her friend’s alcohol consumption. “
I think she self-medicated herself many times and it’s a depressant,” Judge said on the Bravo show.
“Oh we all do,” Shannon responded “And I admit it.”
David asked the judge for specific rules that Shannon would need to follow around their children. “Petitioner shall not consume alcohol eight hours before or during period of time with children,” he wrote. The Blast first reported the story.
During the RHOC reunion Shannon recalled how abused she felt by David.
“In my marriage I heard that I was selfish, that I was an alcoholic from day one — even though I went through, like, five years without even a drink — and that I was crazy,” she emotionally revealed.
David was ordered to pay Shannon $22,500 a month in support as their bitter divorce went through the courts.
