‘Married At First Sight’s Amber & Dave File For Divorce: ‘We Weren’t A Good Match’

Another Married at First Sight couple has filed for divorce. Amber Martorana revealed over Instagram that she has split from Dave Flaherty.
“There have been some questions about the status of our marriage, so I wanted to confirm @daveflaherty80 and I have filed for divorce,” Amber captioned a series of photos of the couple. “We obviously had a lot of tough moments but we shared a lot of laughs and fun times together too.”
She ended the post with, “In the end we just weren’t a good match, but I learned a lot through the experience and can now say I’m thankful for it. I wish Dave well, and I know he wishes the same for me in return.”
The split doesn’t come as a shock, as the couple fought throughout the most recent season.
They had their first fight because he said his celebrity crush is Jessica Biel. The choice made Amber self-conscious, as she has blonde hair.
When Dave suggested she stop dying her brown hair blonde because it is falling out, she felt her appearance was not good enough for him.
She even became “bothered” when he spoke to her friend, who is a tall brunette.
“It goes along with all my insecurities of not being good enough,” she admitted.
He also gave his wife a 7.5 rating, which caused another blowout.
Amber and Dave aren’t the first couple from their season to divorce.
Mia Bally and Tristan Thompson divorced after choosing to stay together as well on decision day.
However, Danielle and Boddy Dodd are still going strong, as they are expecting a baby girl together.
