Roseanne Barr sure knows how to hold a grudge. As RadarOnline.com has learned, the disgraced actress has not spoken to former co-star Sara Gilbert ever since her show cancellation!
During a talk with Australia’s TV Week magazine, the Gilbert, 43, claimed that she “reached out to Roseanne” following her shocking racist tweet, but the 66-year-old never answered!
“We haven’t spoken yet,” she said of her older frenemy.
As RadarOnline.com readers recall, Gilbert was one of the Roseanne stars who got called a traitor by Barr after she was fired by ABC.
Following Barr’s controversial Twitter comment, Gilbert tweeted: “Roseanne’s recent comments about Valerie Jarrett, and so much more, are abhorrent and do not reflect the beliefs of our cast and crew or anyone associated with our show. I am disappointed in her actions to say the least.”
Hours later, Barr quoted Gilbert’s tweet, writing “Wow! Unreal.”
Eventually, the shamed actress admitted her mistake, nonetheless saying she was “shocked” by Gilbert’s harsh reaction to the incident.
Gilbert’s reveal comes weeks after Laurie Metcalf told reporters that Barr had not contacted her after she tried to reach out.
While Barr has long insisted that she’s learned to deal with her firing and with her character being killed off in the Roseanne spinoff, The Conners, it seems she’s not been able to let the drama with her former costars go!
