Finally! Neil Young Confirms Marriage To Daryl Hannah
It's official, Neil Young is a married man!
This Wednesday, the country crooner released the official music video for his song, "Ohio." When posting it on his band's website, he paired the clip with a lengthy and passionate political message about the importance of gun control— ever so slyly confirming his marriage to Daryl Hannah at the same time.
"'Ohio' was written back in 1970 after seeing the cover of a magazine with a young girl kneeling beside her fallen friend," he began the post. "When the National Guard murdered four students at Ohio's Kent State University for protesting the Vietnam War, it was a pivotal moment in our history. It was a pivotal moment for me," he wrote, days after the deadly Pittsburg shooting.
He added that in today's political landscape, there are no "real laws" protecting us from mass shootings, and that must change.
"Today's students are brave, demanding change in violent times," Young added. "We stand with them. They are us. We are them. This has been going on for far too long. My wife Daryl and I put this video together for you to reflect on," said Young, 72, giving a shout out to his new wife.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, the two tied the knot this August — on a yacht! After much controversy surrounding their romance, they celebrated their love with two incredible ceremonies: one intimate and quaint and one large and lavish.
Fans recall that Young and Hannah, 57, met in 2013, when the country singer was still married to wife of 40 years, Pegi, 65. And while many close friends of his were unsupportive of his new romance, he divorced his longtime partner and threw himself into a romance with Hannah.

"We're very lucky to have found each other. I'm eternally thankful for the opportunity to share my life with her, and she feels the same," Young told Yahoo in March, five months before their wedding.
