Jim Carrey Admits He Lives An 'Isolated Life' After Wrongful Death Legal Battle

Jim Carrey seems to be in a bit of a rut and fans are worried for his emotional well-being.
In a recent interview with Radio Times, the 56-year-old comedian admitted to living most of his days alone.
"You could describe my home life as an isolated life," the actor revealed. "I spend a lot of time by myself, but I like being by myself, so it's ok. That might be strange to some people, but I enjoy it."
Despite this, Carrey says he still trying to maintain a love life.
"I love to read and I enjoy painting and working on sculptures in my free time. And I date," he said.
News of his solitary life comes on the heels of an egregious three-year legal battle against his ex-girlfriend's family.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Carrey was involved in a wrongful death lawsuit launched by the family of Cathriona White following her suicide in 2015.
Her family accused Carrey of having caused her death and of giving her an STD – which she herself had sued him for before her sudden passing.
A California judge dismissed the suit earlier this year.
Carrey admitted to struggling with clinical depression in the past.
Most recently however, he explained that he wasn't dealing with it.
"At this point, I don't have depression," Carrey said in a 2017 interview. "There is not an experience of depression. I had that for years, but now, when the rain comes, it rains, but it doesn't stay. It doesn't stay long enough to immerse me and drown me anymore."
