Locked Up For The Holidays: Heather Locklear Will Spend Thanksgiving & X-Mas In Rehab
Nov. 21 2018, Updated 5:38 p.m. ET
Heather Locklear will spend Thanksgiving in treatment – and probably Christmas too, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
The troubled actress had a huge blow-out argument with her boyfriend Chris Heisser which resulted in paramedics being called and she was placed under a “5150 hold.”
The law in California allows unstable people to be placed into psychiatric care against their will.
Now Locklear will be in treatment through Thanksgiving and is likely to be there until the end of the year.
“She obviously needs more help, so she will obviously be held through Thanksgiving,” a source close to the Melrose Place star told RadarOnline.com exclusively.
“She’s not going to leave for a while — her last stint was for 90 days and everyone wants her to get better, no matter how long it takes, where she’s not a risk to herself or anyone else.”
Her ex, Bon Jovi rocker Richie Sambora, previously told RadarOnline.com exclusively he “will not waiver on always being there for her getting the best help possible.”

The source said Locklear, 57, left rehab where she was undergoing residential treatment in October for her daughter Ava’s 21st birthday, but friends worried as it was too soon.
In addition, she's still facing charges for assaulting a police officer and a paramedic when they attended a disturbance at her home in June – which could result in jail time.
The source told RadarOnline.com: "Heather’s family has also discussed putting her under a conservatorship, with a guardian or a court-appointed conservator to assume responsibility for her.”
Her relationship with Heisser was a major concern for her family, the source told RadarOnline.com. “One thing all of those around Heather agree on is she needs to ditch Chris.”
The source added: “Chris is an ex-con. The family wants him out, but she loves him, so it’s tough.”
