Weeks after his mysterious death, brothel owner Dennis Hof was elected to Nevada's state legislature, RadarOnline.com has learned.

The notorious brothel owner, who owned the Love Ranch where Lamar Odom nearly died of an overdose, was campaigning for a Republican seat of Nevada's 36th legislative district.

On October 16, Hof passed away at the age of 72.

His death is currently under investigation and toxicology results are pending to determine the cause.

Last month, authorities confirmed to RadarOnline.com that Hof passed away suddenly in his sleep. Hof's campaign manager, Chuck Muth, explained the brothel owner was "having the time of his life" celebrating his 72nd birthday at a star-studded bash hours before his passing.

Porn star Ron Jeremy also told RadarOnline.com exclusively that the Bunny Ranch owner had a wild night of sex with a "Latin girl" before his passing.

On Tuesday, the late aspiring politician defeated Democrat Lesia Romanov. According to reports, officials will appoint a Republican to take Hof's seat.

Hof was outspoken about Odom's shocking overdose at the Bunny Ranch in 2015. This summer he slammed former sex worker Savanna after it was reported she was shacking up with Odom.
