Ariana Grande’s split from bad-boy SNL star Pete Davidson turned out to be a blessing in disguise!

RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that after the 25-year-old singer was “super emotional” after her new song “Thank U, Next” — which was written about her short romance with Davidson, 26 — debuted at number one on Billboard’s top 100 songs this week!

“Ariana believes that everything happens for a reason and that her breakup gave her some really good material to work with,” a source close to Grande said.

Fans can expect more material from the soulful singer following her nasty breakup, the pal revealed to Radar exclusively. "Success is the best form of revenge and Ariana is only getting started. Her fans can definitely expect more music, more videos and a tour that is going to be her best yet.”

With her huge Billboard hit accomplishment, things are finally looking up for Grande. “Her family is so relieved that she is in a better place now and that she finally got through the storm,” the source told Radar.

But it’s not only Grande who’s gotten new material out of the split!

As fans know, after Grande and Davidson ended their engagement late last month, the comedian put their issues on blast on several weekend updates.

Needless to say, the sexy singer — who has since vowed to stay singleultimately got the last word in by telling Davdison, “Thank U, Next.”
