The bodyguard who was protecting Kim Kardashian the night she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris has been sued by her insurance company, RadarOnline.com has confirmed.

Pascal Duvier was working for Kim and her sisters when he left her alone in the fancy Parisian hotel on October 1, 2016.

He went to a nightclub with Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner and left Kim behind. That’s when armed men stormed the apartment, tied Kim up and robbed her at gunpoint, making off with $1.6 million in jewels!

The insurance company, AIG, is suing Duvier, claiming his actions resulted in the theft.

The lawsuit claimed multiple security breaches led to the robbery including a missing front gate lock and a broken intercom.

As fans know, October 3 marks the two year anniversary of the horrific robbery.

Although the reality star insisted she was “forever changed,” vowing to shed her flashy clothes and expensive jewelry in favor of a more low-key persona, a source told Radar on the anniversary that Kardashian’s family and friends think “she hasn’t changed at all!”

“Kim changed for like one minute,” one insider told Radar. “She was great at playing the victim role until the attack aired on the following season of KUWTK. But almost immediately after that she started to go right back to her self-absorbed lifestyle.”

As Radar reported, Kardashian, 37, swore she was “allergic” to jewelry after the horrific heist and that she would never return to Paris.

Not only did she go back to the City of Lights, but in June the mother of three posted on Instagram a photo there showing her trying on an expensive Dior bracelet!
