Loretta Lynn Is Hospitalized But Is Now Home And 'Feeling Better'

Loretta Lynn went to the hospital again in the latest health scare for the country icon.

Lynn, 86, confirmed on her official Facebook page that she got treated, writing, "After a brief hospital visit, I’m feeling better now and enjoying a weekend of resting up at home. Love y’all, Loretta."

Loretta did not disclose any details about her illness.

The singer's granddaughter Tayla also told fans, "She is resting and well. Thank you for love and light xoxoxo We love you."

Lynn suffered a massive stroke in May 2017 and broke her hip earlier this year.

A family source told RadarOnline.com that Lynn was able to attend a memorial service for her brother, Herman Webb, in early August, and was surprised about her recent hospitalization.

"It must have happened suddenly," the insider told RadarOnline.com. "I know Loretta's sister Betty was leaving on a cruise and another sister, Crystal Gayle, is going on tour. Loretta appeared fine in August but she was in a wheelchair. She wasn't wheeling herself around, someone was pushing her wheelchair for her.

"But she talked and she ate. They played a song of Loretta and Willie Nelson's at the memorial service. She was very sad about her brother Herman's passing. They were very close," the source added.

Loretta missed this week's 2018 CMT Artists of the Year event, honoring solely female country stars.

She was set to get a big award but informed fans on social media she was too ill to attend, writing, "Well Y'all, leave it to me to go and get sick on the very night all my friends are getting together to honor me at the CMT Award Show as their Artist of a Lifetime. I can’t believe that I'm not gonna be there tonight in person, but I am watching and I’m there in spirit!"

RadarOnline.com had revealed this summer that the star was still in poor health more than one year after suffering a massive stroke that left her temporarily speechless.

After surviving the 2017 stroke and a broken hip, suffered in Jan. 2018, the determined singing icon had appeared on the Today show earlier this month to say, "I feel so good that I'm ashamed to even say I feel so good!"

Loretta released her latest album, Wouldn't It Be Great, on Sept. 28.

Now fans are hoping and praying one of country music's veteran singers can bounce back yet again.
