Bob Barker suffered a horrifying “medical emergency” at his home in Los Angeles on Tuesday, RadarOnline has exclusively learned.

The Price Is Right star, 94, was feared to be in grave danger after his Hollywood Hills home was swarmed with ambulances on October 9, but after a few agonizing hours he was given the all-clear.

After initially saying they had feared the worst, the Los Angeles Police Department clarified they had not been called out because of a death.

A police spokesperson told RadarOnline.com: “It was a medical emergency only.”

When reached for comment, Barker’s business manager William Prappas confirmed ambulances had attended, but said the beloved game show host was “OK”.

Neighbors had not seen The Price is Right legend in months as he has become a virtual shut-in and is unable to get around easily by himself.

Recently a friend said: “Everyone’s praying for Bob, but his health is deteriorating rapidly.”

The medical dash came almost a year to the day after Barker was spotted at Los Angeles’ Forest Lawn cemetery breaking down in despair at the grave site of his beloved wife, Dorothy Jo Gideon, on October 19, which was 36 years to the day of her death.

Barker cleaned her headstone and laid flowers during the 20-minute vigil.

He expects it won’t be long until he can be there for an eternity — he’s had a tombstone engraved with his name and birth year and has planned his funeral.

The friend added: “He’s not afraid. I think he can’t wait for the day when he and Dorothy will be reunited.”
