Ariana Grande Ditches Engagement Ring For First Performance Since Pete Davidson Split

She's back! On Tuesday, October 16, Ariana Grande took the stage for the first time since ex-boyfriend Mac Miller's September overdose death, and her recent split from fiancé Pete Davidson.
The stunner looked flawless in a green mini dress and matching lip as she performed "The Wizard and I" for an upcoming TV concert special.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, the program will air later this month, and will honor Grande's favorite Broadway musical, Wicked.
While Grande, 25, dropped out of a performance this past Saturday following her split from Davidson, 24, she stood by her word this time around, not wanting to let her managers, fans, and the network down. Though she seemed less cheery than usual without her massive diamond engagement ring, her voice was angelic as ever.
"She walked out with her hand in her pocket like she might not want people to see her left hand but had no ring on when she took her hand out," an eyewitness exclusively told RadarOnline.com, adding that despite it all, she "gave a flawless performance."
RadarOnline.com was first to report on Sunday that Grande gave back the $100,000 engagement ring to Davidson.
Said another onlooker: "She seemed positive, and appreciated all of the cheering."
A third insider told RadarOnline.com that Grande was doing "fine" backstage. Though she was "keeping herself to herself," she wasn't "so distraught that she canceled — which producers feared."
Sources close to the star said that she wants to star in a big NBC holiday live musical — like Carrie Underwood did for The Sound of Music in 2013 — and wasn't about to burn the network by cancelling last minute due to her heartbreak.
Following her ex's death and her recent breakup, Grande took some time off to work on herself and regain her strength. While various outlets have reported Davidson is absolutely crushed by their split, she seems to be doing just fine!
