No More Sugar Mama? Vicki Gunvalson & Steve Lodge On 'Verge Of Split'

The Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson is ready to call it quits with her boyfriend Steve Lodge — because she doesn't want a stay-at-home lover, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

As fans know, after Vicki's nasty split in 2016 with cancer-scheming ex Brooks Ayers, 57, she rebounded with ex-cop Steve, whom she was hoping to make her husband after he moved into her mansion earlier this year.

"Vicki is going to spin this breakup like Steve wasn't ready for marriage so that is why she ended it, but in actuality the two of them haven't been on the same page for a while now," a close friend of Vicki, 56, told RadarOnline.com.

Steve, who met Vicki at a charity event in early 2016, was a paratrooper in the United States Army and then a police officer. He ran for the Anaheim City Council in 2012 and 2016, and he’s currently the Principal at public relations firm Chamus and Associates.

But he's less busy than Vicki, and living in her home. According to the insider, "Steve thinks that he can be a stay-at-home boyfriend and he just can't!"

Vicki's RHOC co-stars are not sugar-coating their true feelings about her failing relationship that looks too much like a Sugar Mama situation!

Kelly Dodd, 42, who is still upset at with Vicki and Steve for remaining friends with her ex-husband Michael Dodd, 61, claimed that Steve was "using Vicki for her money" — a claim that Vicki flat out denied.

Another co-star, Tamra Barney, 51, revealed on-camera that Vicki wanted to get set up by a matchmaker because, as Tamra put it, "she does not love Steve!"

Emily Simpson, 53, has argued on RHOC that because Vicki makes her own money, it’s okay if she’s with a guy who doesn’t.

Vicki defensively shouted, "He HAS money!"

According to the pal, however, both Kelly and Tamra have hit the nail on the head.

"Vicki isn't in love with him and she can't force herself to be. They are never intimate and she is starting to see what others have seen all along — that maybe Steve is only in it for her money and fame," the source told RadarOnline.com.
