Daddy At 69! Richard Gere & Wife Finally Confirm Pregnancy

Richard Gere is ready to be a daddy—again! Just four months after he tied the knot with Alejandra Silva, the actor announced the two are expecting their first child together!
"A very special moment just a few minutes ago… Getting blessings for our precious to come," Silva, 35, captioned an Instagram photo of the famed Buddhist leader blessing her baby bump as she stood next to Gere, 69. "We couldn't announce it before telling HH Dalai Lama."
In the photo, the Spanish publicist looks well into her pregnancy!
RadarOnline.com readers know Gere is already a father to son Homer from his previous marriage to Carey Lowell, just as Silva is a mother to son Albert from her marriage to Govind Friedland.
Regardless, the two could not be more excited to start their own little family. A source close to the newlyweds even told PEOPLE that they are "extraordinarily happy," and "so comfortable with each other."
