Dad At 69! Richard Gere To Become A Father Again

Richard Gere is going to be a dad again! RadarOnline.com has learned the Pretty Woman actor is expecting a baby with wife Alejandra Silva, whom he married just four months ago!

Spanish newspaper ABC was first to report the happy news, noting that Gere, 68, is already a father to son Homer, 18, from his marriage to Carey Lowell. Silva, 35, is a mom to 5-year-old son Albert from her marriage to Govind Friedland.

RadarOnline.com readers know Gere and Silva tied the knot in an intimate ceremony this April in Spain after dating for nearly four years. They later celebrated their nuptials with loved ones and friends in New York City.

Following the wedding, the actor told reporters he was the "happiest man in the universe" with his new publicist wife, and admitted that he now gets to live the "quiet and happy life" he's always wanted.

"I was a little lost, without light, and knowing him gave meaning to my life," Silva told Hello! after their fairytale wedding. "It was feeling that someone was reaching out and showing me my true path."

The two also admitted at the time that they were hoping to start their own little family very soon!
