'Mr Robot' star Portia Doubleday is involved in a messy break-up with a former roommate.

RadarOnline.com has obtained court documents that she filed.

In the docs Doubleday, 30, has lifted the lid on her bizarre ordeal.

She says a woman paid $1,300 to live in her Los Angeles apartment for the month of July, but left after only 15 days.

The star claims that since leaving, the woman has been increasingly aggressive about demanding her money back, to the point that the actress was left "really shaken by her aggressive behavior.

This resulted in her packing a suitcase and staying with her parents because she feared for her safety.

Doubleday – who plays agent Angela Moss on the hit show – says that the woman got her VENMO account frozen by claiming the transaction between the two was fraudulent.

The actress alleges that she offered to give her angry roommate her money back but the woman demanded more cash due to her suffering in the dispute.

Doubleday says the woman even put "false documents" in her mailbox pretending to be small claims court papers.

Bizarrely, Doubleday claims that she's afraid the woman will harm her dog saying it suffered a "peculiar" allergic reaction recently and that she feels uncomfortable when her pet is outside.

Doubleday then contacted the police because the woman is trying to extort her and has "stalker attitude toward me."
