Pay Up! Miranda Lambert Charges Fans Big Bucks For Selfies
Miranda Lambert might be worth $40 million, but she’s apparently not above making a few extra bucks from her hometown fans. RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively the country star would charge visitors to her now-shuttered Oklahoma clothing boutique $100 just for a selfie.
“She had a sign in the window saying pictures were $100, and she meant it, too,” a friend told RadarOnline.com. “Miranda wouldn’t be in a picture with fans unless they paid her the going rate – that’s a lot of money for folk around these parts.”
Lambert, 34, opened her first Pink Pistol store in 2012 in Tishomingo, Okla., where she lived at the time with then husband Blake Shelton.
The “Keeper of the Flame” singer claimed the money raised went towards her rescue dog charity “Muttnation” and the sign demanding dollars was allegedly "only up for a few days."
After opening the store, tourists flocked to the sleepy town of about 3,000. But locals say she never embraced her far-traveling fans.

“Blake chats to anyone, but she would put her head down and keep to herself,” the insider added. “She valued her privacy which is fine, but she had a very cold way of going about it.”
The store shuttered in 2016, but a second shop remains open in Lindale, Texas. And although her hometown haunt is now gone, residents of Tishomingo aren’t shedding tears.
“Aside from the tourist money she brought in, no one was sad to see her go,” the source confirmed. “And certainly no one was surprised her and Blake didn’t work out.”
