Pregnant Carrie Underwood Suffers Health Scare, Forced To Cancel Show

Pregnant Carrie Underwood has pulled out of a music festival because of medical issues, RadarOnline.com has learned.

The Long Road music festival released in a statement, “We just heard the news that Carrie is unable to play The Long Road due to illness. We’re just as gutted as she and her fans are, and our primary concern is her speedy recovery.”

The festival added, “Despite this news, we have a fantastic line up of music and experience across 5 stages to look forward to this weekend, and we can’t wait to come together as a Country Family to make The Long Road a festival to remember.”

Universal Music Group Nashville revealed she has also been forced to cancel several upcoming promotional activities in the UK, including Radio Live in Hyde Park due to illness.

Underwood, 35, announced in August that she is expecting her second child with her husband Mike Fisher.

“We are over the moon and so excited,” the “Cry Pretty” singer said, adding that she’s glad son Isaiah, 3, will have another sibling.

Underwood will be going on her Cry Pretty 360 Tour in May 2019 after she gives birth to her second child.

The pregnancy news comes after she fell down the steps of her Nashville home. She got about 40 to 50 stitches on her face from the accident. She also broke her wrist from the fall.
