Denied! Bill Cosby's Attempt To Axe Judge Before Sentencing Fails
Bill Cosby’s plan to axe the presiding judge just days before his sentencing failed this afternoon, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively Judge Steven O’Neill denied the demands, noting that the felon’s team of fifteen lawyers could’ve “easily uncovered” the alleged relationship between the Court and former district attorney Bruce Castor as it was “public record.”
RadarOnline.com broke the bombshell revelation on the eve of the retrial, after well-placed sources claimed Judge O’Neill had a blowout fight with a key witness arising from allegations of a close relationship he had with that witness’s employee.
“This Court is confident that it has and can continue to assess this case in an impartial manner,” Judge O’Neill wrote in his decision. “This Court simply has no bias against any witness called by the defense or the Defendant himself.”
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Cos’ wife of 54-years traveled to Harrisburg earlier this week demanding that Judge O’Neill be investigated, not her convicted husband.
Bill Cosby, 81, is scheduled to return to court on Monday and Tuesday for sentencing. He faces up to 30 years in prison for his crimes.
