Asia Argento is not done fighting for her innocence in the sexual assault case that tarnished her #MeToo activist reputation.
Days after the actress was accused of having engaged in sexual intercourse with an underage man, Argento, 42, is now saying the teen was the one who assaulted her.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Jimmy Bennett accused his The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things costar of having sexually assaulted him in a hotel room in 2013—when he was just 17 and she was 37.
Though Argento first denied the incident to the press, she admitted to the intercourse in texts to BFF Rose McGowan.
"The horny kid jumped me... I had sex with him it felt weird," she told McGowan, 45, after the news broke.
When it became evident that neither Argento nor McGowan were going to expose the truth, McGowan's partner, Rain Dove, leaked the messages to police!
At the same time it was revealed that Argento's late boyfriend, Anthony Bourdain, arranged to send Bennett $380,000 as hush money—a payment which the actress halted after Bourdain's tragic suicide.
Now, after much backlash, Argento is sticking to her claim that Bennett, 22, "sexually attacked" her in the hotel suite. And according to her lawyer, Mark Jay Heller, he's lucky Argento decided not to prosecute him!
