Rose McGowan’s Partner Rain Dove Admits Leaking Asia Argento Texts To Cops

Rose McGowan’s partner is not playing around when it comes to the law.
In a shocking Instagram post this Wednesday, model Rain Dove—who is gender fluid—admitted that they leaked Asia Argento’s texts regarding her sexual relations with a minor, because they believed it was “the basic thing one should do.”
RadarOnline.com readers know Argento, 42, admitted to McGowan, 44, that she had relations with former The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things costar Jimmy Bennett in 2013, when he was just 17. She said, via text, that she didn’t know he was underage and the sex was “weird.”
Meanwhile, the actress kept denying the incidents to the press, despite the fact that she paid Bennett, 22, to stay silent and let the incident go.
In his statement, Dove, 28, said they realized neither Argento nor McGowan were going to tell the truth, so they had to.
“While the conflict may feel murky—the situation is cut and dry,” wrote Dove. “An individual admitted to sexual engagement with a minor (acceding to the age stated in California) which is an illegal act that can qualify as statutory rape.”
The model explained that Argento also admitted to having received unsolicited nude images from Bennett—but never complained.
“When the individual made it clear that they were not going to be honest about their engagement, I turned in materials that may contribute towards an honest investigation. All victims deserve justice. Justice can rarely exist without honesty,” wrote Rain Dove.
While Dove is not “anti-Asia or anti-anything,” they wrote on Instagram that they trust in the importance of believing “every victim” and giving him/her a chance to tell his/her story.
As of now, the investigation into Asia Argento and Jimmy Bennett’s sexual relationship is still ongoing.
