Judge Jennifer Schecter provided her response a few hours later, and gave notice to Perry’s attorneys to file paperwork to the court within the next seven days:

“Let The Parties show cause, before this Court, at a hearing to be held at the courthouse … on the 27th day of August 2018, at 11:30 a.m. on papers only why an Order should not be made and entered, maintaining the confidentiality and sealing of portions of the July 21, 2017 discovery deposition transcript of Ms. Hudson that were not cited but the parties in connection with motion 37, which was filed with this court as NYSCEF Doc.No. 1408.”

The judge also ordered all parties, including attorneys representing Kesha and Dr. Luke, to be notified by email by Aug. 21, 2018.

There will be no oral arguments concerning Perry’s request for an emergency order, but all parties can call the court between 4 to 5:30 p.m. if they would like to discuss the motion, Judge Schecter wrote in the affidavit.

Perry, 33, worked with Dr. Luke on many of her hit songs, including "I Kissed A Girl" and "Teenage Dream."

In previously filed court documents, Kesha, 31, accused Dr. Luke of raping Perry in 2016 texts to Lady Gaga.

Both Perry and Dr. Luke denied the allegations.

Kesha has been at war with Dr. Luke in court since 2014, when she filed the explosive lawsuit accusing him of raping her multiple times.
