Katy Perry is desperately trying to keep her deposition sealed in Kesha’s sex assault case against Dr. Luke — but the music producer’s attorneys want the judge to make her secret testimony public, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.

In an August 21 filing in New York court, Dr. Luke’s attorney Jeremy M. Movit said keeping the deposition of Perry, otherwise known as Katheryn Hudson, under seal would create an “incomplete” record.

“Unsealing other testimony…pertaining to the matters discussed during Ms. Hudson’s deposition (including for example, Defendant’s self-serving testimony), while leaving Ms. Hudson’s testimony under seal, will create a one-sided and incomplete record, and will be highly prejudicial,” Movit wrote. “As such, all of the testimony concerning these matters should be unsealed at the same time.”

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Perry’s attorneys demanded the judge keep her 2017 court deposition under wraps because if it were to go public, it could cause “significant harm” to her “career and reputation.”

RadarOnline.com exclusively revealed that the judge ordered the testimony to remain sealed until at least August 27, by when Perry’s attorneys would have to submit paperwork explaining why the records should be kept confidential.

Perry was dragged into Kesha’s lawsuit when she allegedly accused Dr. Luke of raping the “I Kissed A Girl” singer, who worked with the producer on many of her hit songs. Both Luke and Perry vehemently denied the accusations.

Kesha has been at war with Dr. Luke since 2014, when she accused him of raping her multiple times during their years of working together.
