Flight Horror: Dead Fetus Found Inside American Airlines Plane Bathroom
Feb. 25 2019, Updated 11:50 a.m. ET
A dead fetus was discovered inside the bathroom of an American Airlines plane this Tuesday, RadarOnline.com has learned.
The jet landed at New York's LaGuardia Airport on Monday night, from Charlotte, North Carolina.
The plane's cleaning crew found the dead fetus hours after American Airlines Flight 1942 passengers left the plane, according to Fox 46 Charlotte.
The airport tweeted this Tuesday that the popular airline was experiencing delays, later adding that the plane was back in service.
It's still unclear who gave birth to the fetus, and why she left it inside the plane restroom.
In a statement to RadarOnline.com, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in NYC said they are "investigating" the discovery.
"The OCME can confirm we're investigating what we believe to be a human fetus found deceased on an airplane," spokesperson Aja Worthy-Davis said. "We will release cause and manner of death upon determination."
