NXIVM Sex Cult’s Disturbing Teachings Revealed In Explosive Tell-All
Catherine Oxenberg is calling out the NXIVM cult in her explosive tell-all for allegedly preaching disturbing teachings and practices to its members, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.
The former television star admitted in her upcoming book, Captive: A Mother’s Crusade to Save Her Daughter from a Terrifying Cult, that she took NXIVM’s “Executive Success Program” (ESP) courses back in 2011 before the cult’s inner sex slave ring known as “DOS” was publicly known.
The courses were advertised as self-help mentoring classes for women. But the concerned actress claimed the cult’s teachers preached derogatory teachings about women.
“Men are designed to be polygamous, and women must learn to tolerate this behavior,” Oxenberg recalled. “When men cheat, they go back to their wives. When women cheat, they tend to transfer affection and leave their primary relationship.”
Oxenberg also said cult leader Keith Raniere designed the courses – and they were tailored to make women feel worthless.
In one class Oxenberg attended, she said women were described as “whimsical, entitled, spoiled, overemotional, childish, self-serving, weak-willed" and lacked discipline.
Additionally, abortions were strictly off-limits, according to NXIVM’s teachers. Oxenberg said she was dismayed to learn that even in cases of rape, Raniere’s right-hand-woman and former ESP teacher, Nancy Salzman, preached that “victims are abusers.”

Raniere, Salzman and four others, including Smallville actress Allison Mack, are currently facing racketeering charges for their involvement in the cult.
Oxenberg ultimately left the cult in disgust but years later would find out much more disturbing rules within DOS, the sex slave ring her daughter, India, 27, was a part of.
The concerned mom recalled the horrific branding ritual spearheaded by Mack where womens’ flesh were burned with her and Raniere’s initials.
Members who skipped out on the branding rituals would face even more painful consequences including “starvation, cold showers, running ten miles at three in the morning, getting whacked with a paddle, or being locked in a cage.”
