Briana Renee’s divorce and restraining order aren’t the only cases Matt Grundhoffer is being ordered to show up in court for. RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal the disgraced Little Women: LA star has been ordered to appear in court after being accused of sexually assaulting a minor.

In court papers obtained from Pierce County Superior Court in Washington, Grundhoffer was served with a letter, a notice of video deposition and a subpoena, which orders him to attend court, on July 18, 2018 at 4:30p.m. at his Ruston, Washington apartment.

SEE THE PROOF!

As RadarOnline.com broke in June, an alleged victim, whom RadarOnline.com has chosen not to name, sued the State of Washington, Department of Social and Health Services, and Child Study and Treatment Center on June 4, 2018. Grundhoffer, 40, is not listed as a defendant in the case.

The Plaintiff claimed she came into contact with Grundhoffer, now 40, who worked as an employee and counselor when she was a patient from September 2009 to November 2010 when she was a minor.

“Defendants knew or should have known that Grundhoffer posed a danger to Plaintiff and others at CSTC,” the court papers read. “Plaintiff met Grundhoffer at a time when she was a minor child and vulnerable.”

She continued, “Grundhoffer manipulated that vulnerability by grooming Plaintiff during their counseling sessions for a romantic relationship and breached his ethical duties by engaging in a sexual relationship with Plaintiff while she was a patient, a minor child and held at CSTC.”

The Plaintiff claimed she “developed an emotional dependency” on Grundhoffer based on his position of authority and trust. She claimed it was breached when he “pursued a personal and sexual relationship.”

“Grundhoffer’s sexual abuse of Plaintiff continued after her discharge from CSTC,” the complaint claimed. “The improper relationship has caused significant confusion and severe emotional harm to Plaintiff, including humiliation, mental anguish, shame, depression and general deterioration of her emotional wellbeing.”

She claimed the Defendants failed to protect and keep her safe. Their conduct was “reckless, grossly negligent, negligent and in bad faith.”

In the Defendant’s answer to the complaint on July 9, 2018, they admitted the Plaintiff met Grundhoffer when she was a minor child at CSTC. But they are “without knowledge or information sufficient to form a belief as to the truth” of the sexual assault.

The Defendants deny that the Plaintiff is entitled to relief from the Defendants. They claimed the injuries/damages were “caused by intentional conduct of Matthew Grundhoffer.”

They are asking the complaint be dismissed with prejudice, which means the Defendant cannot sue again.

RadarOnline.com previously reported that Grundhoffer was reprimanded for omitting vital information about his criminal history and lying to supervisors while working for the state of Washington’s Department of Social and Health services in March 2013.

Renee, 35, filed for divorce from Grundhoffer on November 30, 2017 after a number of sexting scandals.

On December 8, 2017, she filed a request for a domestic violence restraining order against him, asking to protect her and their son Maverick.

She claimed to have found graphic sexual messages between Grundhoffer and another woman on November 28.

“The conversations were recent and involved bestiality and the proposals of sex acts with minor children, including the proposal of involving sex acts with Matthew’s minor child, age 12, from a previous relationship,” she claimed. “I am fearful for him to be left along with our minor son.”

She requested sole legal and physical custody of Maverick with no visitation awarded to him.

In a supplemental declaration filed on July 27, 2018, Renee said Grundhoffer “pretends to aim and look down the barrel of the gun and state, ‘I am not afraid of anyone.’”

“In August 2017, Respondent (Grundhoffer) threatened to break down our bedroom door while I had it locked in fear of him,” Renee alleged in the declaration. “He stated, ‘I am going to break down this f*cking door!’”

In Grundhoffer’s respond to Renee’s claims, he alleged that she sent him “several sexually explicit text messages, begging me to come back to her for sexual intercourse” on November 2017.

He also claimed she was suicidal in the final weeks of their toxic marriage.

“Petitioner expressed her desire to die,” Grundhoffer claimed. “She threatened to kill herself and even told me to take our son and her daughter to the State of Washington where they would be well taken care of with my family and me."

He continued, “In light of her unstable, emotional and suicidal notions, I removed my gun locker from the evidence because I feared Petitioner could access the guns inside for improper use, since she knew the passcode to the open locker. Based on my experiences, I fear her emotional imbalance, need for support and lack of proper help now puts our child at risk of harm.”

In an August 1st court hearing, a judge granted the restraining order for five years.
