Younes Bendjima is fed up with living in Kourtney Kardashian's shadow, and RadarOnline.com has learned he wants to use his newfound celebrity to boost his career!

"Younes was modeling before he met Kourtney, and being her boyfriend has definitely given him a bigger star status," an insider exclusively told RadarOnline.com. "He's had a lot of offers rolling in because of that and wants to use this time to turn his dream of becoming a male supermodel into a reality."

Too bad his career considerations aren't compatible with Kardashian's plans.

"Kourtney would rather he focused on being with her," the source noted. "She thinks he should be grateful to her for all the attention and Instagram followers he's getting."

But Bendjima believes he would have become successful without her help, and he doesn't want to miss his big chance.

"Younes has made it clear that he's tired of being Kourtney's glorified escort, and he wants to focus on turning himself into a huge star – no matter what she thinks."
