Don't Worry! Trapped Thai Cave Boys Write Heartfelt Letters To Their Parents
July 7 2018, Updated 9:50 p.m. ET
The 12 Thai soccer players trapped in a huge water-filled cave have sent reassuring letters to their parents.
One read: Mum and dad, don't worry about me.
And despite their terrible ordeal, that is being watched by millions of people around the world, they are staying calm.
In the letters they have told their families not to fret and that they are being well looked after.
However, with the heavy rain season imminent they are still in grave danger as emergency teams try to plot a way to release them from the underground cave.
The boys' coach also wrote a letter to the families of the young soccer players.
In the letter he issues a humbling apology and vows look after their loved-ones 'to the best of his ability'
The letters were delivered by divers and emerged last night from the Tham Luang cave where they are still trapped.
Despite their ordeal the boys are clearly in good spirits as they urged their teachers not to bombard them with homework after their escape and list dishes they want to eat when they emerge from the cave.
