Michael Douglas Begs Drug-Addled Son Cameron To Move In With Him
RadarOnline.com can reveal exclusively Michael Douglas has invited his troubled son Cameron – along with his baby mama and child – to move in with him and Catherine Zeta-Jones in hopes it will keep him off drugs.
“Michael has a lot of guilt when it comes to Cameron,” an insider confessed to RadarOnline.com. "He was a lousy dad but he’s trying to make up for it now and is begging Cameron to live with him."
The 39-year-old has battled several addictions to heroin and drugs, and served seven years in federal custody on drug-related charges.
After finally being released in 2016, he moved into a halfway house and met yoga instructor Viviane Thibes. The couple welcomed a baby girl named Lua Izzy in December 2017, and all seemed well with Michael’s oldest son.
But as RadarOnline.com readers know, Cameron relapsed in April, and his famous father had enough.
“Cameron’s struggling with his addictions,” the insider added. “If he fails another drug test he’s going back to prison.”
The Ant-Man star can’t let that happen.
“(Michael) wants to be there for his son and hold his hand through recovery,” the insider added.
However, as supportive as Michael is, he may have difficulty convincing his famous wife to open her arms to his damaged son.
“He might run into interference though from Catherine, who doesn’t want Cameron and his girlfriend and baby to move in.”
