Former MSNB host Ed Schultz has died at age 64.

According to reports, the journalist passed away at his vacation home in Minnesota from natural causes.

Schultz began his career in the small Fargo, North Dakota, market in the early 1980s.

He eventually went on to spend six years on the national stage as host of MSNBC’s The Ed Show, which went off the air in 2015.

Schultz most recently helmed The News with Ed Schultzon Russia Today, the broadcasting platform also known as RT America.

“Nobody is going to tell Ed Schultz what to say… I could have retired,” he once said of taking on his last job at the Russian-sponsored network.

“That’s not Ed Schultz; I’m not ready to do that. I got a lot of tire left. I have a lot of desire. This gives me a chance to do something that I haven’t had an opportunity to do in my career.”
