Demi Lovato’s Best Friend Dani Vitale Stayed By Her Side In Hospital After Overdose
After Demi Lovato was rushed to the hospital following a drug overdose on Tuesday morning, her best friend, Tell Me You Love Me tour dancer Dani Vitale, remained by her side, a source exclusively told RadarOnline.com.
“Dani spent the whole day at the hospital with her,” a source close to the fiery red-head told RadarOnline.com. “Dani and Demi have known each other for a long time, and are very close.”
In fact, Lovato was celebrating Vitale’s 28th birthday with her at Saddle Ranch in Hollywood just hours before the July 24 overdose.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the singer’s die-hard fans slammed Vitale and blamed her for her overdose.
But the insider insisted the pro dancer had nothing to do with her troubled friend’s near-death incident.
“She’s very upset about it,” the source claimed. “She is very straight; she doesn’t do drugs.”
“Sadly, Demi is a lost cause. She’s a young girl with too much money.”
Lovato’s ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama also visited the suffering star in the hospital as well.

Meanwhile, her sister Madison was spotted coming and going from the singer’s Hollywood Hills mansion.
A source told RadarOnline.com Lovato will be released from the hospital imminently, and will immediately check into rehab for longer-term treatment.
