It’s been only one day since Demi Lovato was found unconscious from an apparent drug overdose at her West Hollywood, California, home — and RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned the singer’s furious fans are already placing the blame on backup dancer and BFF, Dani Vitale. The troubled singer spent the hours before her OD at the pro dancer's wild birthday bash in Hollywood's infamous Saddle Ranch bar. Click through 7 shocking photos to find out how Vitale is handling the massive online attack!
For the past several years, Lovato and Vitale have been inseparable and, on several occasions, their lady love caused speculation that they're more than just friends. In fact, Vitale has gained thousands of followers on Instagram because of her close friendship with Lovato!
But after fans found out that Lovato was celebrating Vitale’s birthday the night before her overdose, they slammed the red-haired beauty on her social media accounts. Among the super nasty comments, one angry Lovatic wrote, “You helped in sending her to the hospital. Happy Birthday.”
Just prior to Lovato’s near fatal incident, Vitale posted a birthday message on Instagram — clearly not knowing what was to come. In the post, Vitale wrote, “What. A. Year. Every year on my birthday I make a small, feasible list of things I want to accomplish to stay on track. I can proudly say while holding back little baby tears that I’ve surpassed this years list extraordinarily.”
“This is the first year in my life I’ve truly started believing in myself. I’m a hard headed girl that perseveres but it’s taken me a long time to look myself in the mirror and say, “ya, you did that”. It. Changed. Everything. Thank you @ddlovato for my birthday day and for this MIND BLOWING past year with you ❤️ I can’t wait to see what is to come and continue to be so inspired by you,” Vitale added.
But fans were quick to pick up on Vitale’s admission that she spent the previous day with Lovato. “To my friends that are forever by my side and continue to be the rocks in my life. For all of you who follow all my ups, downs and adventures :) And to dance. For allowing me to express myself, my dreams and my mission all across the world. I can’t wait to see what 28 has to bring,” Vitale added.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, a friend called 911 from Lovato's Hollywood Hills home at 11:30 am on July 24. Paramedics rushed her to a local Los Angeles hospital, and she is now recovering from the overdose. A source told RadarOnline.com she has agreed to go back to rehab.
