One day after Jeremy and Audrey Roloff announced they are quitting Little People, Big World, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned the REAL reason why the couple left the show that made them stars.

Jeremy's stunning wife Audrey, 26, believes she can be a huge star on social media after ditching the series, a source has revealed to RadarOnline.com.

On Tuesday, July 10, Jeremy, 28, shocked fans by writing on his Instagram page, "After 14 years, over 300 episodes, and 17 seasons, the time has come. A year ago I made the decision that this season would be our last. It has been an amazing run, and I can't say thank you enough to all of you who have watched and supported us along the ride.

"We have the most loyal fans on TV and we appreciate every one of you. You are what made doing this so fun.?? We will still be supporting the family as they carry the #LPBW torch onward. This is a decision concerning Audrey and me specifically – the show must go on!" Jeremy noted about himself and his wife.

While Jeremy didn't specify why they were quitting the hit Roloff family TLC reality show, a friend of Audrey told RadarOnline.com, "I think Audrey and Jeremy, but Audrey in particular, feels like she has enough social media influence with all of the products she promotes, that she can make money off that."

In fact, the fitness instructor, who married Jeremy in 2014 and raises their daughter Ember with him, plugs lots of clothes and beauty products on her Instagram and other social media accounts.

The source noted, "To be honest, I don't think being on the TV show made Audrey as happy as she expected. Like yeah she has fans but she also has a lot of non-fans. I think she just wants to start driving her own life on social media."

But as RadarOnline.com has previously reported exclusively, the devoutly Christian couple has been blasted for an alleged hate scandal.

Audrey was accused of slamming gay fans, and even cozying up to anti-LGBT minister John Bevere's wife Lisa.

The red-headed Roloff wife has come out against gay marriage.

Controversial Audrey also faced criticism after she wrote a blog post claiming that husbands "have authority" over their wives' bodies.

Jeremy and Audrey broke the news they were leaving the TV show just one year after she experienced a series of health issues after welcoming daughter Ember. The new mother's challenges with painful breast-swelling and post-baby blues were chronicled on the latest season of the hit TLC show.

According to the insider, in deciding to end their time on Little People, Big World, "Audrey and Jeremy also want to focus on the ministry and church and they don't want their daughter Ember to be susceptible to the cameras like Jeremy was since his childhood. I'd say this was more Audrey's decision than Jeremy's, to be honest."

"But they also have books coming out, so I think they're good for now."
