Anthony Bourdain was worth $1.2 million at the time of his tragic suicide death, RadarOnline.com has learned. According to his will, which was recently obtained by Page Six, most of the late chef’s fortune will go to his daughter Ariane, 11.
It was initially believed that Bourdain was worth about $16 million.
Bourdain’s assets included $425,000 in “cash and savings,” $35,000 in a brokerage account, $250,000 in “personal property,” and $500,000 in “intangible property including royalties and residuals,” according to the outlet.
Bourdain’s ex-wife, Ottavia Busia will reportedly be the executor of his estate, and guard the money until their daughter is of legal age.
Busia was left with her late husband’s cars, furniture, books, clothing, household items and frequent flyer miles.
According to the will, however, if Ariane had passed before Bourdain, his finances would have gone to her nanny, Myra Quizon.
The TV personality wrote the will in 2016, before his split from Busia.
RadarOnline.com readers know Anthony Bourdain took his own life by hanging on June 8 at age 61 in France, after reportedly suffering from depression.
