Just days after he was shot dead on June 18, RadarOnline.com can reveal exclusively XXXTentacion's family is "scared" to have a funeral because they feel someone might "shoot up the place."

A source close to the family says several of XXX's family members are pleading with his mother, Cleopatra Bernard, to simply cremate his remains. "They fear a funeral for him would turn into yet another crime scene."

"His mother wants a funeral because that's what he would have wanted," the insider revealed exclusively to RadarOnline.com. "But other people in his family don't want that at all because they don't know if someone's out there plotting to fire shots.

"They're also worried his fans are going to show up and possibly get too rowdy," the source added. "His mom's set on a funeral and wants all this violence to stop. She's still grieving and trying to come to terms that her son's dead."

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, on July 20, the Broward County Sheriff's Office in Florida arrested Dedrick Williams, 22. The suspect was charged with first-degree murder.

The Sheriff's office says it's seeking additional suspects as the investigation into who killed XXXTentacion, 20, is still ongoing.
