Lapse In Judgment: Vince Vaughn Cut Back Boozing, Relied On Drivers Before DUI Arrest

Before his shocking arrest for DUI, Vince Vaughn had been trying hard to turn over a new leaf when it came to his partying, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

“Vince has actually gotten his s**t together in the past two years with the help of his wife Kyla and kids,” a source close to the actor — the father of daughter Lochlyn, 7, and son, Vernon, 4 — told RadarOnline.com.

While the pal claimed “fun drunk” Vaughn, 48, still drinks “a lot” since boozing “is part of his lifestyle,” the early morning June 10 arrest in Manhattan Beach, Calif., is a troubling development.

“It makes no sense why he was even driving because whenever he goes out to bars in L.A., he takes Ubers everywhere,” said the friend.

Now loved ones are scrambling to find an explanation for the Swingers star’s lapse in judgment.

“He has been in a slump lately as far as projects go,” noted the friend.

Still, the source added: “He has so much money and has actually been a lot better this past year than he was previously.”
