Cowardly Scientologists Call Cops On Leah Remini

The war between actress-turned anti-Scientologist activist Leah Remini and the cult church is heating up.
Scientologists called the cops on Leah, along with former church executive Mark Rinder and videographer Mark Bunker, also a staunch critic of the cult, on June 20 to complain the trio were trespassing on church property in Clearwater, Florida, according to police records exclusively obtained by RadarOnline.com!
But when it came to showing up at the scene to complete “Tresspass Warning” forms, as instructed by police, the cowardly Scientologists stayed away in fear of being caught on video by “multiple cameramen” who were filming Leah. The former Scientologist is currently working on the latest season of her Emmy-award winning TV docuseries, Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath.
“They called @Clearwater_PD on us for sitting on a park bench,” a frustrated Leah Tweeted to William Rice, the senior pastor at Calvary Church. The pastor’s Baptist congregation is also in Clearwater, where Scientology is headquartered.
“Waste of your taxpayer money. They’re not paying for your PD, but they love to call them. Four cars and officers, Wow!” Leah wrote to Rice, who’s called Scientology a “dangerous cult.”
A Scientologist armed with an “injunction order,” had demanded cops specifically remove Bunker. “It’s an actual injunction… a court order to stay away,” the church member told a police dispatcher, in a 911 recording released exclusively to RadarOnline.com.
Unsealed court records show Bunker, a videographer who has produced programming critical of Scientology, was one of 10 people ordered in 2001 to stay away from church members.
Rinder, however, argued paperwork given to police by Scientologists with information about the injunction was “invalid.” Officers on the scene responded saying they were strictly answering the trespassing call.
Rinder, Bunker and Leah, along with the video crew, “voluntarily moved along off of the premises,” the officers said.
When reached by the RadarOnline.com, Bunker confirmed, “We were doing a story on Scientology in Clearwater,” and encouraged RadarOnline.com to continue its investigations into the church.
“I don’t mind you digging any deeper at all,” he exclusively told RadarOnline.com, deferring to Leah for any further comment.
Leah’s publicist, Rachel Karten, said the anti-Scientology activist had likely said all she had to say with her Tweet.
“Leah’s not going to comment on anything if she is in the middle of filming. It is known that the show is coming back in the fall. So, a new season is taping. That’s public knowledge,” the publicist said.
“If she wasn’t doing anything illegal, it’s a non-story for her.”
