Cannon sued Bieber for “assault, battery, negligently causing emotional distress, damages for personal injury and property, and damages based on negligence damages for trespass to personal property,” according to the docs obtained by RadarOnline.com.
The court papers describe the incident, stating: “Bieber removed plaintiff’s sunglasses without permission and put them on.” Cannon then took a picture of Beiber, who grew “irate” about the photo.
“Bieber’s demeanor drastically changed after plaintiff took defendant Bieber‘s photograph,” Cannon claimed. He continued that Bieber “aggressively threatened harm to plaintiff if the photograph was not deleted. In addition to threatening to harm plaintiff, defendant Bieber‘s threatening communications made in public in front of a number of people included the use of racial epithets.”

The brawl between the two men was captured on video and published online in 2016.
“Bieber struck Cannon with his fist, making harmful contact with plaintiff’s face, head and body. Bieber struck plaintiff more than one time causing injury,” the court docs allege.
“Rather than to engage in mutual combat, plaintiff subdued Bieber on the ground,” and then claimed that he was “struck in the back of the head,” allegedly by someone in Bieber’s entourage.
Cannon is asking for a jury to award him damages in an unspecified amount.
